A Christmas Stroll Down Main Street
It’s hard to believe Christmas is less than two weeks away! If you’ve never experienced the holiday season in the Upstate, now is your chance! Take a stroll along Greenville’s downtown Main Street and find out why the Upstate is the merriest area of all. Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to…
2019 Festival of Trees
Along your Christmas stroll down Greenville, South Carolina’s Main Street, make sure you stop at the Hyatt Regency Downtown, the Courtyard Marriott Downtown, Embassy Suites Downtown, and the Hampton Inn & Suites RiverPlace, for the 34th annual Festival of Trees. You’ll find spectacularly-decorated trees at the entrance way of each hotel that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit. All proceeds benefit the Neurosciences Center.
The Sheep Trail
As you’re walking along, be on the lookout for sheep. Yes, sheep! This family-friendly activity from Aldersgate United Methodist Church will take you on a hunt for the sheep through 11 downtown stores. Trail cards are available at each participating store. When you find a sheep, write down it’s unique name on the trail card, next to the store where it was found. Once your trail card is complete, turn it in for a free cookie at a McAlister’s Deli.
Ice on Main
No trip to downtown Greenville from November to January is complete without a spin around the UCB Ice on Main ice skating rink! It’s located in the Courtyard Marriott plaza, at the corner of S. Main Street and Broad Street.
