Red, White and Blue Shoes 5k
Furman University
With a downhill start and a downhill finish, this is one of the fastest 5k courses around. After the 8am run, there will be plenty of post-race activities to enjoy, including food and drinks, vendors, and tug-of-war and pie-eating contests.
Additionally, the Kids Steeplechase, a non-competitive, quarter-mile run, will start around 9:15am. Participants will go through a water spray, over several hurdles, and around dancing inflatables on their way to the mid-field finish line, where they will receive a wristband and a ticket for a cool treat.
