Around Town: Fall for Greenville
This weekend—starting TONIGHT at 5pm—is one of Greenville’s most popular festivals. It’s Fall for Greenville time! Come downtown to taste from the almost 200 menu items on offer from over 40 of Greenville’s finest restaurants, while enjoying a wide variety of music from five stages. Remember, Fall for Greenville is FREE to the public!

Here is the schedule for Fall for Greenville 2015:
Friday, October 9: 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Ticket Sales end at 9:15 p.m. Alcohol Sales end at 10:30 p.m.
Saturday, October 10: 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Ticket Sales end 8:15 p.m. Alcohol Sales end at 8:30 p. m.
Sunday, October 11: Noon to 7:00 p.m.
Ticket Sales end 6:15 p.m. Alcohol Sales end at 6:30 p.m.
In the case of rain, just grab a poncho! The festival will go on rain or shine.
Food, beverages and merchandise are available for purchase through a ticket system. Tickets are $5 for a sheet of eight and can be used throughout the weekend. Pre-tickets can be purchased at Michelin on Main (located at 550 S Main Street) through TODAY, Friday, October 9th, at 4 pm. Patrons who pre-purchase $50 worth of tickets will receive one free sheet of tickets. Tickets will also be available for purchase all weekend at multiple locations throughout the festival.

Draft Beer: 5 Tickets
Specialty Beer: 6 Tickets
Craft Beer: 7-8 Tickets
Wine: 7-10 Tickets
Pepsi Products: 3 Tickets
Kid’s Rides: 2-7 Tickets
Food Menu Items: 2-8 Tickets

With so many great performances coming up this weekend, it might seem a little overwhelming to keep them straight. Not to worry! There are plenty of activities scheduled to keep the kids entertained as well, with a merry-go-round, festival wheel, Kid’s Town Fun House, rock wall tree house slide, up and down helicopter ride and much more in the Nationwide Insurance Kids’ Area on E. Broad Street.
Finally, what’s a weekend without a little competition? Some of Greenville’s most talented servers, bartenders and chefs will be battling it out in a series of competitions. Watch servers navigate an obstacle course in the Waiters’ Race, bartenders mix up signature drinks in the Bartenders’ Mix-Off, and food critics name the best dish with the US Foods Silver Spoon award.
