Around Town: Gallabrae
It’s definitely festival season here in Greenville, South Carolina! We just wrapped up Artisphere from May 12-14. Now it’s time for Gallabrae, Greenville Scottish Games, from May 26-27! Check out this week’s post for more information.

Come out over Memorial Day weekend for the Greenville Scottish Games. This two-day festival is a great event for the whole family and includes a parade, music, athletic competition and dancing.
Here’s the schedule:
Friday, May 26th, Downtown Greenville
6:00pm: Great Scot! parade on Main Street in downtown Greenville from Broad Street to East North Street
Ceilidh music on the TD Stage at the Peace Center Amphitheater
5:30pm-9:30pm: Erica Berg Collective and Cleghorn performating at NOMA Square for Greenville Heritage Main Street Friday
Saturday, May 27th, Scottish Games at Furman University
Blue Ridge Entertainment Tent
11am – Barleyjuice

On the 27th, there will also be Border Collie demonstrations and a British car show!
Tickets are $15 for adults in advance or $20 at the main gate. Children aged 6 to 12 are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate, and children 5 and under get in for free. Active duty military also get in for free with a valid military ID. All tickets for the games include access to The World’s Greatest Scottish Happy Hour and Celtic Jam that starts in the Entertainment Tent at 5:30pm. Online ticket sales are non-refundable. Lawn chairs and coolers are welcome, but pets and alcohol are not to be brought in.
