This free summer holiday event is definitely one you don’t want to miss! The Red, White, & Blue Festival will be held in downtown Greenville between Court and Camperdown streets and will encompass Broad Street, from Laurens to Falls Streets, and Falls Park. Enjoy live music on two stages and a variety of popular food and beverage vendors. There are even activities for the kids. The city of Travelers Rest is partnering with Slater-Marietta for it’s own Independence Day celebration on Sunday, July 3rd. At the Slater Mill field, take part in contests, games, Cow Patty Bingo, good food and entertainment and at 9PM get ready for the grand finale of this Slater summer holiday event—fireworks supplied by South Carolina based East Coast Pyrotechnics.
Spartanburg’s Red, White, and Boom

If you’re in Spartanburg, there’s a local July 4th celebration for you too! The gates open at 5pm, so arrive early to get a good spot. Make sure you come hungry, as BBQ, funnel cakes, burgers, hotdogs, Philly cheese steaks, and ice cream will be on offer. And, of course, it wouldn’t be “Red, White, and Boom” without a spectacular fireworks show at the end!
