Around Town: Poinsettia Christmas Parade
You know it’s officially the Christmas season when it’s time for Downtown Greenville’s annual Christmas parade. It’s been one of our city’s holiday traditions for more than 75 years—and it’s THIS WEEKEND! Learn more in this week’s blog post.

When? December 5, 2015 from 6pm until about 7:30pm
Where? Main Street, Downtown Greenville
Each year the parade brings thousands of visitors to Downtown, so it’s a good idea to arrive a little early to stake out a good viewing spot. The route starts on Main Street at the fork with Augusta Street and ends at the intersection of Main and North Streets.

There will be about 90 floats to enjoy, lead by this year’s Grand Marshal, “America’s Got Talent” finalist Benton Blount. So come out and the kids, but the city asks that you please leave pets, skateboards and bicycles at home.
