Development in Downtown Greenville, SC
The number of residential properties in downtown Greenville, South Carolina, continues to grow. Since 2012, more than 800 apartment units have been built in downtown Greenville. Another 1,184 are under construction and 600 units are proposed. Many will only be available for rent, but some will be available for sale.
Here are just a few of the projects underway around downtown Greenville.
This building—which includes 365 units available for rent—is close to being completed, though an exact date is still to be determined. However, according to the project’s website, residents have already started moving in. The complex is located on the bank of the Reedy River and offers studio, one and two bedroom apartments available for rent.
This mixed-use development is underway near the corner of E. North Street and Stone Avenue, between I-385 and E. North Street, in the Overbrook Neighborhood. Plans include three different floor plans of 30 contemporary, boutique loft style apartments.
Construction recently began on a four-story, 215-unit complex located at the intersection of Westfield and Academy streets. The apartments—which will be a mixture of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units—are expected to be completed in June 2017, but there’s rumor that this development from Birmingham-based Arlington Properties will eventually be renamed.
This new residential development is well underway. Located on Cleveland Street next to the new Sidewall Pizza, the condo complex has just twelve homes on four floors available for sale. However, the price tags are high—ranging from $899,000 for 2,900 square feet to $1.4 million for 4,600 square feet.
