Greenville Again Among America’s Best Small Cities
Greenville, South Carolina, was again included in Condé Nast Traveler’s list of America’s best small cities for 2021. Find out what they said about the Upstate and why this is the fifth time Greenville has earned the recognition.
This year, more than 800,000 votes were cast by readers of Condé Nast Traveler to rate their travel experiences. Greenville (#5) and Charleston (#2) were the two South Carolina cities to make the list of America’s best small cities. Others included Aspen, Colorado (#1), Santa Fe, New Mexico (#4) and Key West, Florida (#7).
Sheryl Lang, president and CEO of VisitGreenvilleSC, spoke with Greenville Journal about making the list, saying…
“The recognition that our home is among the #5 Best Cities in the United States is no surprise to those of us who live here, and it is a wonderful acknowledgement to be recognized by the passionate readers of Condé Nast Traveler. However, the hundreds of small businesses that make up our destination experience are the real winners. We congratulate our community and extend an open invitation for others to enjoy.”
