According to U.S. News, Greenville offers better value than similarly sized metro areas when comparing housing costs to median household income. More than 40 percent of residents own a home, and there are many new condominiums and apartment complexes available downtown. The median home sale price is lower than the national median.

Greenville, South Carolina, has something to offer everyone—from sports fans, to art lovers, to outdoor enthusiasts. It’s just a short drive to see collegiate athletic events at Clemson University or Furman University. Greenville also has a minor-leave baseball team in the Greenville Drive and a hockey team in the Swamp Rabbits.
